3.6m Trilobal translucent banners for AlburyCity as part of the Upstream Arts + Culture Festival in March 2020. The banners tell the story of Noreuil Park, a popular gathering place that was built by returned soldiers from WWI. Honouring the extraordinary bravery of the Albury Battery in the Noreuil and Bullecourt battle, the returned soldiers built Noreuil Park as a government initiative.
From the ashes and deprivation of war came a celebration of peace and beauty, converting a popular bend in the river to a leafy parkland.
